Wow, how time flies! It’s incredible to reflect on the past few years and celebrate all the wonderful moments that have shaped our lives and our team.
First off, my wife and I have officially become empty nesters. Our youngest daughter graduated this past May and is now off the payroll! With the house feeling a bit quieter, we keep finding ourselves asking, “What’s next for us?” This transition has inspired us to explore new adventures while continuing to pursue what we love in Golden. We’ve been spending time at our cabin in Telluride, which we’ve named “Sanctus.” It’s become a special place for hosting retreats, family gatherings, and community events. In addition to this, we’ve dipped our toes into the real estate market in Telluride and remain committed to leading our team in Golden. We’re excited about the future and anticipate growing our presence in both locations in the coming years.
Despite the challenges in the market, our team has had a fantastic year. Yes, higher interest rates have made it more difficult for both buyers and sellers. Buyers face more limitations on what they can afford, while sellers are often hesitant to make a move or are experiencing a slower market. However, our team has continued to thrive in this environment. Just this month alone, we helped four buyers find their new homes. We’ve also been honored with recognition for our work, including being named a 5280 Magazine 5-Star award winner for eight years in a row, and receiving national recognition from Real Trends for the past two years.
This year, we also welcomed a new member to our team. Mark Poshak joined us last spring and has already been involved in several successful transactions. Mark specializes in the Evergreen market and brings a wealth of marketing expertise to the table. We’re thrilled to have him on board and excited to watch him grow. With Mark’s addition, our team now consists of six members: myself, Tripp, Lange, Jamie, Don, and Mark. We’re incredibly grateful for this group and the genuine care they show for our clients throughout their real estate journeys.
